With over a decade of professional video production work, I've learned and seen a lot. Whether it was looking through an ENG camera's viewfinder or framing off of a digital cinema monitor, I've honed my craft in many ways. After graduating Summa Cum Laude in Kutztown University's Electronic Media program, I worked for three years as a photojournalist at WFMZ in Reading, PA. There I learned the value of working fast and how to shoot to edit. I also picked up an Associated Press Award and was nominated for a Mid-Atlantic Emmy in photojournalism.

     After my short stint in television news-gathering, I began shooting commercial work as a full-time camera operator and director of photography at TC Motion in Lancaster, PA. Over the seven years working in a production house, I've accumulated knowledge in both studio and location lighting. I've traveled across the country working on national advertising campaigns for major brands and agencies including LG, Moen, Chicco, and many more. My years of experience have allowed me to light sets and locations using HMI, tungsten, and LED lighting for multiple moods and scenarios. I've also gained experience operating a camera on a jib, a dolly, and handheld for a variety of different projects. I take pride in being able to realize a director's vision with smooth (or not so smooth when the situation dictates) camera movement that enhances the visual storytelling. It is my honor to collaborate with my colleagues. I feel extremely lucky to have landed in this field that allows for such creativity while mixing in very technical aspects.
